About the Drover Drew Concept
Drover Drew is a fun animation series and unique learning series about the adventures of Drover Drew and his friends in the Australian Outback. Colour in the story of Drover Drew, sing along with the Drover Drew Song and join the Drover Drew gang! Children also learn about Drover Drew and his friends and the magic of the Australian bush!
The Long Paddock
When it does not rain for a very long time, the grass does not grow in the paddocks and the farmer has no food to give the cattle. The cattle become sad, and sometimes the cattle get sick. Drovers take the cattle from the paddocks out on to the roads where there is food for the cattle to eat. The cattle are very happy, and the Drovers are too! The roads that the Drovers move their cattle are long. That is why we call the roads, the Long Paddock.
The Australian Outback
The bush is where the magic happens, that is for certain. Shhh! Sit very still , close your eyes and you can hear the magic of the bush, the Australian Outback. The land can also protect us. It gives us food, clean water and shelter.
If you always look after the land, it will always look after you!
The Drover Drew Story

Welcome to Drover Drew. I am Drover Drew and this is my loyal working dog, Bluey. Bluey helps to round up the cattle.
On my cattle ranch we look after the cattle. We make sure all the animals are fed and we look after the environment by protecting all of the wildlife and the land. My friends and I travel throughout the Australian Outback with the cattle. We meet many friends along the way and there is always a yarn to tell!

They tell me lots of things, like when the rain or sunshine is on its way. Drovers have been droving cattle ever since I can remember, and that’s a long time.

Hi there. I’m Flair Dinkum. I am Jill A Roo’s cousin. I work for Block Moonlight. I am a bit sneaky, like Bloke, but I really like Drover Drew. So, at the end of the day, I will always do the right thing, because Drover Drew is a good boy.
